DTP 640 REX Dual-Capsule Kick Drum Microphone
Dual-capsule for full-bodied sound
The Lewitt DTP 640 REX Dual-Capsule Kick Drum Microphone is one of the most versatile kick drum microphones available on the market. The DTP 640 REX boasts a dual-capsule design for capturing every nuance of your kick drum. The dual-capsule design is comprised of a dynamic and a condenser capsule focusing on different parts of the kick drum.
The dynamic capsule is designed to capture the kick drum’s attack, providing the punch for the kick. The condenser element is designed to capture the low-end of the kick drum, combining them together to deliver a full-bodied sound. Each of the capsules feature their own dedicated output, should you need to split the recorded tracks.
Three switchable sound modes
Another unique feature of the microphone is the integrated sound modes, which come in the form of a 3-position switch on the front. The three-position switch is accompanied by a three-position pad which allows you to cater to different recording situations and subjects. The Dynamic =//= Condenser captures both elements with a neutral frequency response.
The Dynamic +//= Condenser is designed to boost frequencies between 3 and 5kHz, with the condenser capsule remaining neutral. Dynamic +//+ Condenser includes a special dynamic range for both capsules, ensuring it delivers a full-bodied sound. The pad switch also features three settings of: 0dB, -10dB, -20dB.
MTP 440 DM Snare Drum Microphone

Designed with high-level sound sources in mind (particularly snare drums); the MTP 440 DM employs a premium-grade capsule that delivers sonically accurate yet lively sound – capturing the punch and weight of your snare in all its glory. It delivers a refined yet gritty sound with a custom-tuned bass roll-off and defined midrange.
From the studio to the stage, the MTP 430 DM can handle a variety of sound sources with a high SPL rating allowing you to capture everything from snare drums to amplifiers and even wind instruments. Not only that, but the MTP 440 DM utilises a highly durable construction to ensure maximum durability with zinc die-cast parts and a rubber capsule suspension.
DTP 340 TT Tom and Snare Dynamic Microphone
Designed to record toms and snares
The Lewitt DTP 340 TT is a highly versatile dynamic microphone designed for capturing and recording percussive instruments, with attention to detail. The Lewitt DTP 340 TT provides you with a supercardioid capsule designed to provide off-axis rejection, ensuring optimal audio performance for snare and toms. The wide frequency range and premium-grade circuitry ensure you capture every subtle nuance of your snare or tom drum sound, retaining its natural tonality for exceptional audio quality. It reacts well to high sound pressure levels, and the adjustable mounting clip allows you to find the perfect positioning every time.
