If you are booking out a piece of equipment that requires an SD Card such a camera or audio recorder (Tascam/Zoom), please make sure you book an SD Card or MicroSD Card for every piece of equipment that requires it, including any spares you need.

highBook Terms of Use.

By loaning out equipment from Highlands College using this system (highBook), you agree that you are fully responsible for the care and security of all said equipment that is signed out in your name, even if it used by persons other than yourself.

Should loss or damage occur to any item of equipment as a result of negligence or a lack of due care, you agree to pay the full cost of replacing the equipment.

Equipment failure and damage that is not the fault of the person (unavoidable accident etc.) will not result in a charge being made.

The department will to make every effort to avoid passing on charges to the person using the equipment, however the decision as to whether damage is a result of negligence rests with the Head of Creative Arts, and the college's Head of Digital Services.
